Back to School Drive a Success

Thank you to everyone that donated to our Back to School Drive! We were able to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to over 50 children in need. We also had enough supplies to create kits for additional students who needed them. All leftover supplies are being distributed to teachers and classrooms in Washoe County.

Going back to school can be a stressful time for families that are living on a limited income or have financial hardships. Many parents in our community have to make the tough decision of whether to put food on the table or buy their child all of the necessary items they need for the school year. Our goal is to make going back to school an enjoyable experience for low-income families throughout Nevada, and thanks to the generosity of our community, we were able to do just that.
