Operation Easter Basket

Every year, generous members of the community donate money, shop our Amazon Wishlist, and donate pre-filled Easter baskets, and basket fillers. The baskets are distributed to parents to gift to their children.

In 2024, we distributed over 1,800 beautiful Easter baskets. Thank you to all who made Operation Easter Basket 2024 a success! 

Now we need YOUR help in 2025.

Donate Gift Cards (please contact Lisa Ross at LZRoss@ccsnn.org to arrange drop-off).

Also Accepting Pre-Filled Baskets, and Fillers:

  • Ages: Infant-1, 2, 3-5, 6-9, 10-13, 14-18
  • $25 Value per pre-filled basket
  • Label each stocking with gender and age group
  • DO NOT wrap the gifts inside the baskets
  • NO perishable foods
  • Baskets can be filled with toys, books, gift cards, games, etc.

Where To Donate:
Drop off pre-filled baskets and fillers, at our St. Vincent's Thrift Stores in Reno and Sparks Mon.-Sun. from 8:00am-4:00pm. We are accepting these donations through April 4, 2025.

Registration 2025

Operation Easter Basket provides assistance to parents in need of Easter presents for their children.

  • Parents register their children for Easter baskets.
  • CCNN provides parents with the baskets.
  • Parents gift the baskets to their children on Easter.

To avoid duplication, we kindly request that only one parent registers their children.

Please note families should only apply for one Easter gift program in Washoe County per year so that more families and children can receive assistance.

Registration for Operation Easter Basket will open Monday, February 24, 2025 at 9:00am.

Distribution will be April 11 and 12, 2025.

Registration will be first come, first served and there are a limited amount of spots.
