Operation Easter Basket provides assistance to parents in need of Easter presents for their children.
To avoid duplication, we kindly request that only one parent registers their children.
Please note families should only apply for one Easter gift program in Washoe County per year so that more families and children can receive assistance.
Registration for Operation Easter Basket is CLOSED. All 1,400 spots have been filled.
We do not have a wait list.
We will have extra Easter baskets available to parents in need who were not able to register and are not receiving Easter assistance elsewhere. Baskets will be available first come, first served on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 9:00am-12:00pm at the former location of the St. Vincent's Food Pantry, 500 E. Fourth Street.
Distribution for those who are registered will be March 28, 2026 from 9:00am-4:00pm. We will not accept walk-ins this day.

Drop off pre-filled baskets, plastic baskets, and basket stuffers at our St. Vincent's Thrift Stores in Reno and Sparks Mon.-Sun. from 8:00am-4:00pm.
