Operation Easter Basket Overview

This is an annual event held in our St. Vincent's Dining Room on Palm Sunday. Our goal is to distribute a minimum of 800 Easter baskets to local children who are living in poverty. We also provide a special pancake breakfast and party for our guests. The Easter bunny always makes an appearance!

What We Need
We need donations of pre-filled Easter baskets for children ages 0 to 18 by Monday, March 30th. We also accept empty baskets, Easter grass, candy, toys, cellophane and ribbon in order to prepare additional baskets for our clients.

Where To Donate
Drop off Easter baskets at ourSt. Vincent's Thrift Shop at 500 East Fourth Street in downtown Reno, St. Vincent’s Super Thrift Store located at 190 E. Glendale Ave in Sparks or any of our donation drop-off locations.

Step One

Donate Easter Baskets and More
We need donations of pre-filled Easter baskets for children ages 1 to 18 by Friday, April 12. We also accept empty baskets, Easter grass, candy, toys, cellophane and ribbon in order to prepare additional baskets for our clients.

Cash Donations
We also accept cash donations to help fund the purchase of additional baskets and the pancake breakfast and party. Cash/checks can be mailed to: PO Box 5099 Reno, NV 89513. Please specify your donations are to be used for "Operation Easter Basket."

Step Two

Drop-off your basket or mail cash/check donations
To donate, drop off items at our St. Vincent's Thrift Shop at 500 East Fourth Street in downtown Reno orSt. Vincent’s Super Thrift Store located at 190 E. Glendale Ave in Sparks. They're open everyday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Be sure you mention when dropping off that the items are for "Operation Easter Basket."
