St. Vincent's Resource Hub
Our St. Vincent's Resource Hub, is tasked with serving those who wonder how they will be able to meet their most basic needs. We embrace each family and individual with a plan to achieve an increased level of self-sufficiency, giving back some of the choices they have lost along the way.
As we realize that while we provide a very wide array of services to those in need, we also rely on support and assistance from many other local not-for-profit agencies in our community. As a Catholic Charities agency, our goal is not to duplicate local services, but rather to target our resources on those “gaps” in services. With this said, our Resource Hub staff consult with individuals and families, determine their overall needs and situations, connect people to other services in the community, and then strive to provide those basic needs that do not exist elsewhere. Each year, our St. Vincent's Resource Hub provides 14,000 direct services to more than 6,000 people.
Each year, we provide the following types of services:
Referrals to other helping agencies (clothing, medical care, welfare assistance, etc.) for 6,000+ individuals. Transportation help (primarily bus passes) for 579 individuals. Job acquisition support (work permits, ID cards, etc.) for 1,824 individuals. Hygiene items and diapers for 3,012 individuals.
