Nearly 10,000 Needy Families Receive Holiday Meals

The St. Vincent's Food Pantry hosted its annual Feeding Families Holiday Food Giveaway in December. Dozens of Catholic Charities staff members and community volunteers distributed hams, turkeys and holiday food bags to families in need. 

Kids to Seniors Korner provided free immunizations, while our case managers helped sign people up for SNAP benefits and offered several other services to clients. Community organizations, such as Veterans Affairs, were also on site to offer their services to individuals and families. 

At the event, we were able to hand out holiday meals to more than 2,600 families. In addition to the people we helped at Feeding Families, we are also distributing food to over 7,000 families at 73 locations in 10 different counties. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success!
