We are reacting quickly to the needs of our community as we cope with the COVID-19 crisis. We are always privileged to serve the most vulnerable populations in northern Nevada—especially the homeless and working poor through our St. Vincent’s Dining Room, Food Pantry and our Emergency Services through our Resource Hub. But now we are expecting the impact of the virus to expand those we serve. In the coming days and weeks many individuals and families who have never before utilized our services will find that they are in need of the safety net we provide.
We appeal to you to today to consider supporting our organization financially, so that we can continue to feed our clients and meet their most basic needs. Our servitude hasn’t become harder, but it has become even more vital to our state. We must increase our services so that we can be proactive in these ever-changing times. We are grateful for you—our community of donors. As this crisis continues to evolve, we have an opportunity to develop new ways to be in solidarity with one another, even as we “socially distance” ourselves.
It is in times like these when we need each other the most. Through your support, we can come together for those in need.
Please visit our website if you are able to help our community in this way.
