THRIFT STORE SORTER/HANGER

Under direction of the Store Manager, performs a multitude of tasks which include: placing items on the sales floor in appropriate areas, recommending disposal of defective stock, rotation of stock, working the cash register, assisting customers, and answering the phones. Daily tasks: sets target goals of production. May be asked to perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

• Works with sales floor crew to meet sales goals/targets by category
• Sort, hang, and tag clothing
• Process accessories
• Follow rotation schedules
• Share experiences, answer questions, and set a standard for other employees
• Maintain cleanness areas on main floor
• Assist in other areas

• Education: High School diploma (GED), or direct experience required
• Experience: 1 year of retail processing experience
• Skills: Good customer service, ability to multi-task and follow-up. Ability to train others, and to observe customers.
• Able to set and reach daily processing targets

• Regular periods of standing and walking
• Regular movements required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
