Thrift Store Pricer I

Under direction of the Store Manager, performs a multitude of tasks, which include processing goods and/or pricing for the floor. Daily tasks: sets target goals of production. A pricer may be in jewelry, shoes, housewares, electrical or books. Pricers provide training to employees and volunteers. They may be asked to perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

  • Works with crew to meet process goals/targets
  • Process donations through processing and sales, and follow rotation schedules
  • Share experiences, answer questions, set a standard for other employees
  • Maintain the movement of goods to/from the floor or warehouse operation
  • Fill-in all areas as needed
  • Able to be cross trained

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma (GED), or direct experience required
  • Experience: 1 year retail processing experience
  • Skills/Abilities: Excellent customer service, strong communication/organization skills, ability to multi-task and follow up

Physical Requirements:

(Regular>50% of shift, frequent between 25% to 50 %< than 25%)

  • Regular periods of standing and walking
  • Regular movements required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
