DONOR GREETER

Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada is currently seeking donation greeters to work in our donation drop-off centers for the St. Vincent's Thrift Stores.

Position Description:

A donation greeter is responsible for engaging donors who visit our donation drop-off centers. This person is responsible for collecting donated items from the customer and sorting them appropriately based on a variety of categories (furniture, clothing, shoes, housewares, books, etc.). A donation greeter is also in charge of keeping the donation center clean and organized. This person should also be knowledgeable about all Catholic Charities programs in order to educate donors about how their donations are being used to benefit the community.

Desired Skills:

• Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
• Outgoing, engaging personality; strong interpersonal skills
• Physically capable of lifting items up to 40 lbs.

Time Commitment:

This is a part-time position with an opportunity to eventually become full-time.
